Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between Brickell Lab (hereinafter "the Studio") and its clients (hereinafter "the Client") regarding the hiring of web development, graphic design, branding, packaging, digital solutions, and translation services. By hiring any Brickell Lab service, the Client accepts these terms in full.

1. Services offered

Brickell Lab offers the following professional services:

• Web development: Landing Page and Business Pro
• Graphic design: brand identity, social media pieces, brochures, presentations, and photo retouching
• Packaging: label and packaging design for production
• Digital solutions: custom web application development
• Translation (Lexa): certified public translations and specialized standard translations

Detailed specifications for each service are available at labbrickell.com.ar. Brickell Lab reserves the right to modify or discontinue services with prior notice. TheLúmina product (event management platform) is contracted within its own platform and is governed by the terms and conditions published there.

2. Hiring process

The business relationship begins with an inquiry via WhatsApp or email. The standard process is:

• Initial inquiry and needs assessment
• Submission of proposal and detailed quote
• Formal acceptance by the Client (written or by message)
• Payment of the agreed deposit to start the project
• Development and delivery according to the agreed schedule

The project begins only after formal confirmation and payment of the corresponding deposit.

3. Quotes and prices

The prices published on the website are indicative base prices in Argentine pesos (ARS). The final quote may vary depending on the complexity, specific scope, and particular requirements of each project. Prices may be updated without prior notice on the website, but the quote agreed with the Client remains fixed for the duration of the project.

For projects with international clients, prices may be quoted in US dollars (USD) by prior agreement.

4. Payment terms

The standard payment terms are:

• 50% deposit at the start of the project
• Remaining 50% upon final delivery

For larger projects, a staged payment scheme may be agreed. Accepted payment methods will be indicated in the commercial proposal. Failure to make payments entitles Brickell Lab to suspend the delivery of materials until the situation is resolved.

5. Delivery times

Delivery times are estimates and are agreed at the start of each project. Timelines may be affected by delays in the delivery of materials, content, or approvals by the Client. Brickell Lab is not responsible for delays caused by external factors or by the Client's failure to respond within the agreed timeframes.

6. Translation service (Lexa)

Public translations performed by Lexa are carried out by a sworn public translator and have official validity under current regulations. The Client is responsible for providing complete and legible documents, and for indicating the use or intended destination of the translation where applicable. Brickell Lab faithfully translates the content of the original document provided by the Client and is not responsible for errors, omissions, or alterations present in that original document. Delivery times for translations are agreed on a case-by-case basis according to the length and complexity of the material.

7. Revisions and corrections

Each service includes a number of revision rounds specified in the commercial proposal. Additional revisions outside the agreed scope will be quoted and billed separately. "Revision" is understood as minor adjustments to the approved concept, not changes in creative direction.

8. Intellectual property and copyright

Once 100% of the project has been paid, the Client receives commercial usage rights over the agreed final deliverables. Brickell Lab reserves the right to include the work performed in its portfolio and promotional materials, unless an express confidentiality agreement is in place.

Editable source files (Figma, Illustrator, etc.) are only transferred if explicitly included in the proposal or if paid for as an additional item. Third-party fonts are subject to their own usage licenses.

The code developed by Brickell Lab for websites becomes the property of the Client once 100% of the project has been paid.

9. Client materials and content

The Client is responsible for providing all content necessary for the project (texts, images, logos, documents, etc.) in the agreed formats and timeframes. The Client warrants that such materials do not infringe third-party rights and releases Brickell Lab from all liability in this regard.

10. Cancellations and refunds

In the event of cancellation by the Client:

• If it occurs before work begins: 100% of the deposit is refunded
• If it occurs once the project has started: the deposit is non-refundable and the work performed to date will be billed
• If it occurs after final delivery: no refund applies

Brickell Lab reserves the right to cancel a project for justified reasons, in which case it will refund the amounts paid corresponding to work not performed.

11. Limitation of liability

Brickell Lab is not responsible for:

• Commercial or sales results derived from the use of the deliverables
• Outages, hacks, or technical problems in third-party hosting services
• Changes in search engine algorithms that affect SEO ranking
• Indirect damages, loss of profits, or data loss

Brickell Lab's maximum liability in any case may not exceed the total amount paid for the project in question.

12. Confidentiality

Brickell Lab will treat as confidential all sensitive business information of the Client shared during the project. Likewise, the Client agrees not to disclose proposals, methodologies, or internal documentation of Brickell Lab.

13. Jurisdiction and applicable law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. In the event of any dispute, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Ordinary Courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them.

14. Modifications

Brickell Lab reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Modifications take effect from their publication on the website. Ongoing projects are governed by the terms in force at the time they were contracted.
